You never know what’s going to show up at an e-recycling drop-off. A recent donation at our Bellevue location turned out to be a trove of rare, Cold War-era aerospace hardware including an experimental 1977 military-grade processor, fiber-optic components from early “Fly-by-Light” flight control systems, and hand-crafted hybrid microcircuits.
Our founder and CEO, Tyler Rivers, spotted the pieces during an inspection and pulled them from the shredding line before they could be recycled.
